Emergencies & Security

Security and protection service

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police is responsible for policing and is mandated to serve and protect the population of Bouctouche and visitors.

The Criminal Investigation Division is responsible for conducting investigations and providing specialized support services to departments and operational units.

The Patrol and Response Division provides 24-hour protection and prevention services. It also provides police dog, marine patrol and tactical response services.

The Community and Personnel Services Division is responsible for providing crime prevention and public education programs.

Fire Department

The Fire Department provides emergency services to the residents of Bouctouche by dedicating manpower and equipment to fire suppression and rescue methods.
The Bouctouche Fire Department is comprised of 35 volunteer firefighters who are trained to respond to the emergency firefighting and rescue needs of our town.

Municipal Emergency Response Plan

The Municipal Emergency Response Plan is a management tool to facilitate a rapid, effective, efficient and coordinated emergency response.

Sports Fields

Tennis courts and Pickleball court 37 Richard Avenue (Clément-Cormier School grounds).

Outdoor skatepark and baseball field are located on Mclaughlin Street. 

Trails & Bike Paths

The walking and biking trails in the Bouctouche area will help you discover a dynamic Acadian community and a natural coastline where you can breathe the sea air.

A 13 km trail links the great dune of Bouctouche and the playful little world of Pays de la Sagouine.

The Back Bay Trail is 4 km long and runs through the town of Bouctouche to the pedestrian bridge across the river and then continues through a wooded area near the bay.

The trails of the Irving Eco-Centre, the Bouctouche Dune and the Pays de la Sagouine, are enjoyed by residents and visitors alike, whether they are hikers, cyclists or birdwatchers!
